Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Our Company representative shall meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay will be at Delhi. Delhi, India’s capital, is a city built in layers. Over millennia, great empires have risen and fallen here, each leaving behind a legacy of ruins and monuments. Today, the city is a blend of ancient history and modernity, with New Delhi’s wide motorways, shopping malls, and sleek office complexes standing in stark contrast to the historic sites. Overnight will be in Delhi.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Old Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon Sightseeing Tour of Old Delhi Raj Ghat: Begin with a visit to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. This simple black stone structure with an eternal flame is a fitting tribute to the man who changed the world with his ideas. Red Fort: This imposing red sandstone fort, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639, served as the seat of the empire for two centuries. Today, it is where the Prime Minister delivers the Independence Day speech. Jama Masjid: A rickshaw ride will take us to one of Asia’s largest mosques. We’ll view its magnificent structure from outside, with its lofty domes and minarets reminiscent of Arabian Nights. Overnight in Delhi

Day 03: Tour of New Delhi and its attractions

Breakfast will be at Hotel. Next, you’ll be driven to New Delhi, built by the British in the 1930s as their imperial capital. This part of the city, known as Lutyens’ Delhi, is characterized by majestic government buildings and wide, tree-lined avenues. India Gate: This red sandstone arch is a memorial to Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I. It leads us to the Parliament House, the seat of the world’s largest democracy. Rashtrapati Bhawan: The official residence of the Indian President, featuring the famed Mughal Gardens with its fountains and manicured lawns, open to the public in spring. Qutub Minar: The day’s tour ends at this tallest stone tower in India, built in 1193 by Qutubuddin Aibak. Nearby is an iron pillar that has never rusted despite centuries of exposure. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb: A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi, built in 1572 by Hamida Banu Begum. This first garden-tomb in India, designed by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, features a Char Bagh layout, red sandstone, white marble inlays, and intricate lattice work. It inspired the Taj Mahal and showcases Mughal cultural heritage. Evening at the Akshardham Temple: Inaugurated in 2005, this spiritual and cultural complex in Delhi is built from pink sandstone and white marble. It features a main shrine, exhibition halls, a musical fountain, and a thematic garden. The central monument, adorned with intricate carvings, reflects Indian art and spirituality, offering a serene and enlightening experience. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 04: Drive to Agra

Drive to Agra after breakfast. Reach Agra and Check into hotel. Agra: Located on the Yamuna River, Agra was the Mughal court’s seat until the 17th century. Home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri, the city features a mix of red sandstone and white marble monuments, along with narrow Mughal-era streets. You have some time to relax before we proceed to visit Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal: Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, this stunning white marble mausoleum, designed by Persian architect Ustad, is renowned for its intricate inlay work. The Taj Mahal appears to float above the ground and is especially breathtaking in the moonlight or at dawn. Overnight will be in Agra.

Day 05: Heritage walk to explore the heritage of Agra

Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed for the sightseeing tour. Agra Fort: Built by Akbar in 1565 AD, this massive red sandstone structure overlooks the Taj Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan spent his last days here, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. The octagonal Muamman Burj tower, with its beautiful marble work, served as his prison. Itmad-ud-Daulah: Commissioned by Nur Jehan in memory of her father, this white marble mausoleum predates the Taj Mahal and is often called the “Baby Taj.” Take a break for lunch and later procced for the Heritage Walk: Cross the Yamuna River for a heritage walk with stunning views of the Taj Mahal. Explore Mughal-era monuments and enjoy the hospitality of local villagers with a cup of Masala Chai. Main Attractions: Gyarah Sidi (Eleven Steps): Remnants of Humayun’s Jantar-Mantar, offering views of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Humayun Mosque: A unique Mughal mosque with engraved sandstone graves. Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden): Designed to view the Taj Mahal in moonlight, offering excellent photo opportunities. Village Experience: Walk through Kachhpura village, associated with the history of the Taj Mahal. Experience local culture, traditional lifestyles, and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers. Return to the hotel and relax. Overnight in Agra.

Day 06: To Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur. Stop at Fatehpur Sikri: Built by Emperor Akbar in honor of Sufi saint Salim Chishti, this city was the Mughal capital for 14 years. Key attractions include the white marble tomb of Salim Chishti, the colossal Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i-Aam, and Diwan-i-Khas. Also, visit the palaces of Jodhabai and Birbal. Reach Jaipur by late-afternoon. The afternoon is free for you to relax, explore or shop in the bustling bazaars of Jaipur. Look out for gold and silver jewellery, pottery, tie-dye materials, silk, saris, wooden handicrafts and carpets. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 07: Day Exploring the Attractions of Jaipur

Start your day with a visit to the Amber Fort, a majestic fort known for its artistic Hindu style elements and stunning views. Next, head to the City Palace, a beautiful blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, where you can explore its museums and courtyards. Don’t miss the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with impressive instruments. Nearby, the Hawa Mahal or “Palace of Winds” offers a unique façade with its intricate latticework. For lunch, enjoy some local Rajasthani cuisine at a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Albert Hall Museum to see a rich collection of artifacts. Then, take a stroll through the vibrant Johari Bazaar for some shopping. End your day with a visit to the Nahargarh Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the city, especially beautiful at sunset. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 08: Jaipur Shopping OR Samode Excursion

Breakfast will be at hotel. Today you can relax at the hotel and do some shopping. Jaipur is known for Gemstones and Silver Jewellery. OR Explore the Royal Village of Samode Discover the historic charm of Samode, once a flourishing town under the Nathawat clan of the Amber state. Visit the 400-year-old Samode Palace, renowned for its stunning frescoes and the grand Durbar Hall. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the Rajasthani village or a delightful camel cart ride, and savor a delicious lunch at the palace. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 09: Drive to Pushkar

Proceed to Pushkar after breakfast. Reach and Check in to hotel. Start your Pushkar tour with a visit to the Brahma Temple, one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. This temple, with its unique architecture and red pinnacle, is a must-see. Next, head to the Pushkar Lake, a sacred water body surrounded by 52 ghats. It’s a serene spot for a morning walk or a peaceful moment of reflection. Afterwards, take a cable car ride to the Savitri Temple, located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Pushkar and the surrounding landscape. For lunch, enjoy some local Rajasthani cuisine at a traditional restaurant in the town. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant Pushkar Bazaar, where you can shop for colorful handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles. Day 10: Proceed to Jodhpur

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Jodhpur. Later – drive to Jodhpur. Reach and check into hotel at Jodhpur. Jodhpur, known as the “Blue City” due to the blue-painted houses in its old town, is the second-largest city in Rajasthan. Founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan, Jodhpur is steeped in history and culture. The city is dominated by the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, which offers stunning views of the city and the Thar Desert. Jodhpur is also famous for its palaces, temples, and bustling markets Evening visit Umaid Bhawan Palace: Visit this grand palace, part of which is still the residence of the Jodhpur royal family. The palace also houses a museum showcasing artifacts from the royal collection. Clock Tower and Sardar Market: Head to the bustling Clock Tower and Sardar Market area. It’s a great place to shop for handicrafts, textiles, and spices, and to experience the local culture. Dinner with a View: End your day with dinner at a rooftop restaurant like Panorama 360 or Jhankar Choti Haveli, where you can enjoy a meal with a view of the illuminated Mehrangarh Fort. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 11: Jodhpur, the beautiful blue city

Breakfast will be served at the hotel. The morning will be spent sightseeing in Jodhpur. Mehrangarh Fort: Start your day with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. Explore its museums, courtyards, and palaces, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from its ramparts. Jaswant Thada: Just a short walk from the fort, this beautiful marble cenotaph is a memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It’s a peaceful spot with intricate carvings and a serene garden. Return to the hotel relax. Toorji Ka Jhalra (Step Well): Visit this historic stepwell, which has been beautifully restored. It’s a great spot for photography and to relax after a day of sightseeing. Afternoon, got for a Bishnoi Village Safari: Extend your exploration with a visit to Bishnoi Village, located about 22 km from Jodhpur. The Bishnoi community is known for their deep reverence for nature and wildlife. During the safari, you can meet the locals, observe their daily activities, and learn about their eco-friendly lifestyle. The safari often includes jeep rides through the countryside to spot local wildlife such as deer, blackbucks, and various bird species. Overnight will be at Jodhpur.

Day 12: Drive to the land of Marwari horses, Rawla Narlai

After breakfast – drive to Rawla Narlai. Reach and check in to the hotel. Relax. Rawla Narlai is a beautifully restored 17th-century fortress turned hunting lodge, gifted by Maharaja Umaid Singhji of Jodhpur to his younger brother Maharaj Ajit Singhji. Located in a vibrant Rajasthan village, this heritage hotel offers a serene escape with stunning views of a 350-foot granite rock adorned with caves and temples. Day 13: To Udaipur enroute visiting Kumbhalgarh

Breakfast will be served at the Fort, after which, we shall drive to Udaipur en-route visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort and Wildlife park. Kumbhalgarh Fort, built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, is a majestic fortress in Rajasthan, known for its 36-kilometer-long walls, the second-longest in the world. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers panoramic views from its perch on the Aravalli Hills and is the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Wander through its palaces, temples, and museum, soaking in the rich history and architecture. Enjoy breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape from the fort’s ramparts. Later – proceed further to Udaipur. Reach and check in to the hotel. Founded by Maharana Uday Singh, Udaipur is a fairytale city with beautiful lake palaces, islands, havelis and temples. Surrounded by the ancient massif of the Aravalli hills, Udaipur shimmers in white, and is also called the City of Dawn. Overnight will be at Udaipur.

Day 14: Udaipur, the city of lakes

Embark on an enchanting sightseeing tour of Udaipur, starting with a visit to the iconic City Palace after breakfast. City Palace: Overlooking the serene Lake Pichola, this grand palace complex is a stunning example of Rajput architecture. Wander through its maze of royal apartments, courtyards, and reception areas, connected by steep, narrow staircases. Marvel at the exquisite miniatures, regal antique furniture, and vibrant paintings. Don’t miss the mirror room with its breathtaking stained glass work and the peacock mosaics at Mor Chowk. The terrace gardens of Amar Vilas, with their beautiful fountains, offer a tranquil retreat. Saheliyon Ki Bari: Next, visit the “Garden of the Maidens,” built by Maharana Sangram Singh in the mid-18th century. Stroll through expansive lawns adorned with fountains shaped like elephant trunks, a lotus pool, and a sitting room decorated with paintings and glass mosaics. The garden’s fountains operate solely on water pressure, creating a unique and serene atmosphere. Jagdish Temple: Situated north of the City Palace, this magnificent 17th-century temple is a marvel of Indo-Aryan architecture. Admire the intricate carvings depicting scenes from the life of Krishna and the giant black stone image of Lord Vishnu. Lake Pichola Cruise: In the evening, enjoy a motor launch cruise over Lake Pichola. Take in the panoramic views of Udaipur city and the surrounding mountains as you sail to the majestic Jag Mandir Palace, located in the middle of the lake. Day 15: Fly to Delhi

Today – take a flight to Delhi. Our Company representative receives you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight will be in Delhi.
