Day 01: Delhi Arrival

Drive to Agra with a visit to Fatehpur Sikri en route:
Fatehpur Sikri: Explore the historic city built by Akbar, including Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khas, Jodhabai Palace, Birbal’s House, Marian’s House, and Panchmahal.
Arrive in Agra and transfer to the hotel.
Agra: Known for its Mughal heritage, red sandstone and white marble edifices, and Mughlai cuisine.

Day 10: Sightseeing Tour of Agra
Sightseeing: Taj Mahal: Visit the iconic white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan.

Baby Taj (Itmad-Ud-Daulah): Visit the exquisite tomb often referred to as the “Baby Taj.”

Day 11: Drive to Delhi and Fly to Varanasi
Upon arrival at Varanasi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy the evening AARTI at the GHATS. The guide will be giving a commentary to you on the proceedings and meanings of the chants during the AARTI of the river.
Overnight will be spent at Varanasi.
Day 12: Tour of the ancient city, Varanasi
Stroll through cobblestone streets along the Ganges and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Return to the hotel for breakfast
Later proceed for the tour visiting Bharat Mata Temple: Features a relief map of Mother India.Durga Temple: Known as the Monkey Temple.

Day 13: Fly to Kolkata
Transfer to the airport to tale flight for Kolkata. Reach Kolkata and check into the hotel.
Kolkata, established in 1686, was the first capital of British India. Initially formed from the villages of Sutanati, Govindpur, and Kalikata, it thrived until 1756 when Nawab Siraj-Ud-Daula attacked. Lord Clive reclaimed it, and it remained the capital until 1911. This long tenure as the power center fostered a unique culture and heritage unlike any other Indian city
In the evening enjoy a cruise of the River Ganges (the last stage) watching the city at sunset and enjoying the heritage of the old British Capital.

Day 14: Kolkata city tour
After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city.
Visit the MOTHER TERESA MISSION, Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge and Birla Planetarium.
Victoria Memorial – It is a grand edifice constructed in the memory of Queen Victoria. This building houses a number of rare specimens of the historical preserves of the land.
Howrah Bridge is another landmark that denotes the city of joy. This hanging bridge is an architectural marvel of the country.
Birla Planetarium – The second largest planetarium in Asia is another site that attracts attention.

Day 15: Fly to Bagdogra, and drive to Darjeeling
Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel.
Years ago, the slopes of Darjeeling were part of the independent kingdom of Sikkim and covered in dense forest. When the East India Company first encountered it, Darjeeling had fewer than 200 inhabitants. Today, it is a bustling town with a diverse population.
After India’s independence, Darjeeling became part of West Bengal. In 1986, a movement for an independent state led to the creation of the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council, granting the region considerable administrative autonomy.
Darjeeling, internationally acclaimed as one of the best hill stations, is adorned with pine trees, rhododendrons, magnolias, primulas, and orchids. The town, with its hillside houses, offers numerous places of interest.

Day 16: Darjeeling tour
Early Morning: Tiger Hill: Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Everest.
Later visit Monasteries and enjoy the scenic views.

Day 19: Mumbai City Tour
Mumbai Fort: Explore impressive buildings from Mumbai’s golden period and visit St. John’s Church, dedicated to soldiers from the Sindh campaign and the first Afghan war.
Marine Drive: Known as the Queen’s Necklace, this iconic boulevard offers stunning views, especially at night.
Gateway of India: This landmark archway is a must-visit, built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911.
Flora Fountain/Hutama Chowk: Erected in 1869, this fountain marks a junction of five streets and is adorned with mythological figures.
Victoria Terminus (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus): A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Gothic and Indian-influenced railway station is an architectural marvel.
Mumbai High Court: Admire the early English Gothic architecture and statues representing Justice and Mercy.
Rajabai Clock Tower: Located in the gardens of the Bombay University, this 280 ft. tower is elaborately decorated.
Hanging Gardens: Also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, these terraced gardens offer panoramic views of the city and sunset.

Day 20: Visit to the Elephanta caves
The Elephanta caves are thought to date back to the Silhara kings belonging to the period between 9th – 12th centuries. With the Brahminical resurgence during the reign of Gupta dynasty in 3rd century AD, these great cave dedicated to Lord Shiva exploded into existence at Elephanta. Legends and history suggest that the great warrior prince of Chalukya dynasty Pulkesin ll raised the shrine to celebrate his victory. Some historians also suggest that these caves were built by the Kalchuri King Krishnaraja in 6th century AD.
As the worship of the figure of the Buddha began to be encouraged with rise of the Mahayana sect of Buddhism, a shrine was introduced to house Buddha’s image, replacing the cells at the centre of the back wall. The Monasteries of Ajanta lead us directly to Elephanta.
Later take a ferry back and the day is free at for leisure activities.
Afternoon visit Knesseth Eliahod Synagogue (also known as Fort Jewish Synagogue), established in 1884 by Mr. Jacob Sasson in memory of his father.
Overnight will be at Mumbai.
Day 21: Departure
As per the flight timings you will be transferred to the international airport to take flight back home with sweet memories of India.
