• Devale Peraheras: For the next five nights, the Devale Peraheras take place within the premises of the four Devales, each dedicated to a guardian deity. These processions feature music, drumming, flag bearers, spearmen, and sacred insignia.
• Kumbal Perahera: The Kumbal Perahera begins on the sixth night and continues for five days. It starts with the Devale Peraheras assembling in front of the Temple of the Tooth, with their insignias placed on the ransivige (a dome-like structure).
• Randoli Perahera: Following the Kumbal Perahera, the Randoli Perahera takes place for five days, featuring even more elaborate decorations and performances.
• Diya-kepeema Ritual: The festival culminates in the traditional water cutting ceremony at the Mahaweli River, symbolizing the end of the celebrations.
